Canned tuna on a plate

Canned preserved, made from tuna in the form of chunks cooked and packed in sunflower oil or water.

It is a wonderful way of consuming omega-3 fatty acids and LDL cholesterol that can accumulate inside the arteries of the heart. Eating more omega-3 is associated with reduced rates of cardiovascular disease, including heart attacks.
